Found this very interesting stuff online, and holy shit!!! I totally want to do something ‘like’ this. Not quite the same myself, but definitely gives me some ideas.

I have been working on and off for about 2 years building our “D&D ROOM” to hold most of our collection and give us a cool place to play. I did 99.9% of the work myself with just a bit of help in the attic from my brother Shawn. All lighting is controlled by the DM via a dimmer/control box mounted under the table. When you walk in the lights automatically come on via a contactor mounted in the closet. There is also hidden strobe and fog machine for effects. I also mounted speakers in the beams and have a sound system in the closet. Here are a few photos…

Article Reviewed: CSS3 Advanced Layout Module

I have been somewhat going through most of the working drafts regarding CSS3 for sometime now.  There are just so many cool things waiting to happen there, I can’t wait.  The new layout module seems really awesome.  Being able to designate places where elements can be simply dropped in, like ‘widgets’ is really cool.

As a user of WordPress, that already uses some of this type of functionality due to code they have implemented in their own theming, I can see the overall usefulness of this specification.
